Jill Ellis, the first coach in Women’s World Cup history to win back-to-back titles, will be a featured speaker at the American Bankers Association Annual Convention, Oct. 27-29 in Seattle. Joining a program lineup that includes former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Pulitzer Prize winning-author Jon Meacham, Ellis will explain the three cornerstones to becoming a leader that people will follow.
As the head of undefeated Olympic and World Cup teams, Ellis is an expert at leading individuals toward collective success. In addition to 102 wins as the manager of the U.S. women’s team, she also led the UCLA women’s soccer team to eight NCAA Final Fours and six straight conference titles during her time as head coach. Off the field, Ellis serves as director of development for the U.S. Women’s National Youth Teams. She is the first American to be named FIFA Women’s World Coach of the Year for women’s soccer and the only female to hold the United States Soccer Federation Professional License for coaching.
