Podcast: Small Business Lending and the Power of Imagination

May 31, 2018
Reading Time: 1 min read

“Do you really think I could do this?” the aspiring entrepreneur asks Patti Husic. She offers encouragement, understanding the value of imagination and inspiration in helping small businesses launch and grow.

On the latest episode of the ABA Banking Journal Podcast, Husic — the president and CEO of Centric Bank in Harrisburg, Pa. — tells stories of times she has worked proactively with entrepreneurs to identify new growth opportunities for them, whether that means buying a brewpub or opening a service business.

She also discusses how Centric Bank uses Small Business Administration loan programs to expand the kind of clients they can serve; talks about Dr. Centric Bank, the bank’s service vertical for healthcare practices; and describes her approach to promoting inclusive hiring at Centric Bank.
