Commercial banks reported total trading revenue of $6.9 billion in the second quarter of 2018, down 16.2 percent from the first quarter of 2018, according to the OCC’s Quarterly Report on Bank Trading and Derivatives Activities today. That figure was up 3.5 percent year-on-year. The net current credit exposure decreased 0.1 percent to $361.7 billion, the report said.
FinCEN to exempt U.S. companies from beneficial ownership reporting
FinCEN posted an interim final rule removing the requirement for U.S. companies and persons to report beneficial ownership information to the agency under the Corporate Transparency Act.
