The ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking’s 2018 session opens today with more than 720 students registered — the largest class since 1990. This year’s class represents banks of all sizes and geographies, various regulatory agencies and international organizations. Held at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School in Philadelphia each summer for a week, Stonier’s intensive executive education program complements extension projects throughout the year.
Stonier focuses on preparing future industry leaders with curriculum covering a variety of topics including capital planning, enterprise risk management, marketing strategy and technology and innovation. As was recently announced, this year’s Stonier experience includes Wharton’s innovative “Looking Glass” simulation platform and a new alumni platform from 360Alumni.
A distinguished faculty from the Wharton School also provide a series of leadership sessions, helping to round out the Stonier experience. Graduates of Stonier earn both a Stonier diploma and a Wharton leadership certificate.
