The international trade deficit fell 7.4 percent in July to $41.9 billion, the Commerce Department reported today, down from $45.3 billion in June. Exports rose for the first time in three months, up 0.4 percent to $188.5 billion. Imports fell 1.1 percent to $230.4 billion.
