The National Institute of Standards and Technology will next week host a public meeting to gather input on the regulators’ Cybersecurity Assessment Tool. The session, to be held April 7, is part of a broader meeting to revisit NIST’s cybersecurity framework first released in 2014. Those interested may attend the meeting in-person in Gaithersburg, Md.; registration closes tomorrow. The meeting will also be webcast.
FDIC extends comment period for Genius Act implementation
The FDIC announced that it will push back to May the deadline for comment on its proposal to create a process through which banks can seek agency approval to issue stablecoins through a subsidiary.
