The OCC today named four bank CEOs to its Mutual Savings Association Advisory Committee, which advises the OCC about mutual banks, assesses their current condition, and offers feedback on regulatory changes affecting mutuals’ health and viability. The committee is scheduled to meet tomorrow.
The new members are: Ana Babiasz, Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan Association, Delaware, Ohio; Brian North, Fifth District Savings Bank, New Orleans; Dennis Parente, Foxboro Federal Savings, Foxboro, Mass.; and Annette Russell, Security Federal Savings Bank, Logansport, Ind.
They join currently serving members James Brown, Bank of Bennington, Bennington Vt.; J.R. Buckner, First Federal Bank of Kansas City, Mo.; Tom Fraser, First Mutual Holding Company, Lakewood, Ohio; Jim McQuade, Dollar Bank, Pittsburgh; and William White, Dearborn Federal Savings Bank, Dearborn, Mich.
