The American Bankers Association has been rated as top among 50 major trade associations for “multilateral impact,” defined as working effectively across the executive and legislative branches and with regulatory agencies, according to a new study by APCO Worldwide.
As part of the study, APCO surveys members of Congress and their staff, executive branch officials and other key policy influencers, who rate associations and sectors along 15 dimensions, including multilateral impact. ABA was the only financial trade association to achieve a top rating on any of the 15 performance characteristics.
