Virginia student Dylan Fox won the first-place grand prize of $5,000 in the ABA Foundation’s “Lights, Camera, Save!” video contest, the association announced today. Dylan’s music video, “Money: It’s Literally Everything,” highlights the importance of saving money from an early age to put towards important purchases such as a car, a home or a college education. The video was entered in the contest by Burke & Herbert Bank in Alexandria, Va.
“Through original lyrics and music, Dylan successfully highlights the value of saving and smart money management,” said ABA Foundation Executive Director Corey Carlisle. “His video will be a fantastic tool in inspiring other students to make saving a priority.”
The two other grand prize winners were second-place Catie Tomasello’s “How a Bill Becomes a Lot,” entered by Banco de Brasil Americas, Miami, and third place Ryan Callister’s “My Dollar Said Something,” entered by Zions Bank in Salt Lake City. Watch the winning videos.
