The U.S. Postal Service will end its current 4.3 percent exigent surcharge, which will reduce prices of certain mail products — including commercial mail– effective April 10. The two-year surcharge agreement was put in place in 2014 to help mitigate USPS revenue declines during the recession, however, lawmakers have not voted to further extend the surcharge.
FDIC extends comment period for Genius Act implementation
The FDIC announced that it will push back to May the deadline for comment on its proposal to create a process through which banks can seek agency approval to issue stablecoins through a subsidiary.
