Pulitzer Prize winner and presidential biographer Jon Meacham will be a featured speaker at the American Bankers Association Annual Convention, Oct. 27-29 in Seattle. Meacham—who joins a speaker lineup that also includes former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan—will discuss leadership lessons from past American presidents.
One of the nation’s most prominent public intellectuals, Meacham is known for his depth of knowledge on politics, religion and current affairs. His biography of former President George H.W. Bush was named one of the ten best books of the year by The Washington Post and one of the best books of the year by The New York Times Book Review, Time Magazine, National Public Radio and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Meacham previously served as Newsweek’s managing editor and editor, where he was recognized by the New York Times as one of the most influential editors in the business.
