Quiet Week Ahead for Banks on Capitol Hill

Banking will see a quiet week on Capitol Hill as the House Financial Services Committee and Senate Banking Committee turn their attention to insurance regulation with several hearings.

The House panel will hold a hearing on Wednesday on improving U.S. capital formation, as well as holding a joint hearing with the House Oversight Committee on Thursday on the U.S. Export-Import Bank.

Meanwhile, the House Energy and Commerce Committee will meet tomorrow to vote on legislation to target vague demand letters by patent trolls.
