The international trade deficit was $96.8 billion in June, down $2.5 billion from $99.4 billion in May, the Commerce Department announced today. Exports of goods for June were $172.3 billion, or $4.3 billion more than May exports. Imports of goods were $269.2 billion, or $1.7 billion more than May imports.
International trade deficit decreases in October
The U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis announced that the goods and services deficit was $73.8 billion in October, down $10.0 billion from $83.8 billion in September, revised.
