San Francisco Fed Names Next President

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco today named Mary Daly as the bank’s next president and CEO, effective Oct. 1. Daly will replace John Williams, who took over as president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in June.

Daly is currently research director at the San Francisco Fed, where she has worked since 1996. She also serves as the executive chair of the Federal Reserve System’s Committee on Research Management.
