Gary Cohn — director of the National Economic Council at the White House and one of President Trump’s top economic advisers — will be a keynote speaker at the ABA Annual Convention that starts next weekend in Chicago. Cohn is scheduled to speak on Oct. 16. As one of six principal negotiators on tax reform, Cohn will have insights to share on that topic as well as the administration’s regulatory reform efforts.
Other keynote speakers this year include Academy Award-winning actress and advocate Geena Davis, former National Security Agency and CIA chief Michael Hayden, Marcus Lemonis, host of CNBC’s “The Profit,” and Chicago Cubs co-owner and chairman Tom Ricketts. The Convention will also feature a series of sessions focusing on banking 10 years into the future, non-traditional small business lending opportunities, cloud computing and attracting and retaining key talent.
Convention-goers will also have the opportunity to participate in ABA’s community development tour, which will showcase the contributions of America’s banks and highlight their ongoing commitment to developing small business communities.
