Academy Award-winning actress and advocate Geena Davis has been added to the lineup of keynote speakers for ABA’s Annual Convention, Oct. 15-17 in Chicago. Davis, the founder of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, will discuss — among other things — how traditionally male-dominated industries like Hollywood and banking can develop and highlight leadership opportunities for women.
Davis joins former National Security Agency and CIA chief Michael Hayden; Marcus Lemonis, host of CNBC’s “The Profit,” and Chicago Cubs co-owner and chairman Tom Ricketts. Other sessions at Convention will cover banking 10 years into the future, non-traditional small business lending opportunities, cloud computing and attracting and retaining key talent. The discounted hotel registration deadline for Convention is next Friday, Sept. 29.
