ABA has announced that NASA astronaut Captain Scott Kelly will keynote its annual convention, to be held October 16-18 in Nashville. Back from his historic 382 days in space aboard the International Space Station — the longest any American has ever spent in space — Kelly will share personal stories and lessons learned about teamwork, leadership and perseverance.
Kelly became an astronaut in 1996, following 25 years of service in the U.S. Navy. His achievements over his two decades with NASA earned him the coveted position as America’s first year-round astronaut. For the past year, Kelly’s 143 million-mile journey has captivated audiences worldwide with his tweets, live interviews and never-before-seen photos.
Bankers are encouraged to register now for the convention to take advantage of special early bird pricing through June 1. This year’s event will provide attendees with three full days of networking, education and inspiration in the Music City.
