The American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking’s 2019 session opens today with more than 730 students registered — the largest class since 1990. This year’s class represents banks of all sizes and geographies, various regulatory agencies and international organizations. Held at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School in Philadelphia each summer for a week, Stonier’s intensive executive education program complements extension projects throughout the year.
Stonier focuses on preparing future industry leaders with curriculum covering a variety of topics including capital planning, enterprise risk management, marketing strategy and technology and innovation. A distinguished faculty from the Wharton School also provide a series of leadership sessions, helping to round out the Stonier experience. Graduates of Stonier earn both a Stonier diploma and a Wharton leadership certificate.
