New Home Sales Grew 16.9 percent in November

New single-family home sales decreased to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 657,000 in November, according to the U.S. Census Bureau and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The November level was 16.9 percent above the revised October rate of 562,000 but 7.7 percent below the November 2017 estimate.

The median sales price of new houses sold in November 2018 was $302,400. The average sales price was $362,400

At the end of November, the seasonally adjusted estimated supply at the current sales rate decreased from 7.4 months to 6.0 months.
