BAFT, ABA’s international finance subsidiary, today announced the election of new officers and directors for the 2016-17 association year. BAFT’s new chairman will be John Ahearn, global head of trade for Citi. Michael Quinn, managing director at JPMorgan Chase, will serve as vice chairman, and Daniel Scanlan, Standard Chartered Bank’s regional head of transaction banking for the Americas, will serve as secretary/treasurer.
The board also elected several new members to the board, including Claudia Colic, managing director, UBS; Patricial Gomes, co-head of financial institutions group, North America, HSBC; Faisal Lalani, EVP and global head, GFI, Emirates NBD; Filip Papich, managing director and co-head, global trade & banking, BMO; Craig Weeks, SVP and manager, U.S. Bank; and Eszter Wijkman, senior adviser, SEB.
