Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) has been added as a keynote speaker for ABA’s Government Relations Summit, which kicks off Monday in Washington, D.C. Scott currently serves on the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs.
Scott joins a long lineup of top policymakers and political experts including Senate Banking Committee Chairman Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), House Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas), Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.), Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-Mo.), Rep. Earl Perlmutter (D-Colo.), former White House Press Secretary Dana Perino, Politico columnist Ben White and election-watchers Charlie Cook and Stu Rothenberg.
In addition to hearing from Washington insiders, the more than 1,000 Summit attendees will have the opportunity to attend several other ABA meetings taking place alongside the Summit. These include the Mutual Community Bank Conference, the Emerging Leaders Forum, the Women’s Leadership Forum and the American Bankers Insurance Association Washington Forum.
