The CFPB today added six new regulations to its eRegulations website — an online platform that makes regulations easier to find, read and understand. The site now includes information on the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Regulation B); alternative mortgage transaction parity (Regulation D); land registration (Regulation J); purchasers’ revocation rights, sales practices and standards (Regulation K); specific rules of practice (Regulation L); and consumer leasing (Regulation M).
ABA, associations propose bank capital reforms to boost mortgage lending
Saying that existing capital rules have discouraged bank participation in mortgage lending, ABA and seven other associations offered proposed reforms to help reverse that trend.
