The Federal Housing Administration on Thursday said that its updated handbook consolidating its guidance for lenders into a single resource would take effect on Sept. 14 instead of June 15 as originally planned. “It’s become clear over the last few months that some of our industry partners require additional time to prepare to implement the handbook,” said HUD official Kathleen Zadaresky.
