The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has updated its diversity and inclusion strategic plan, which outlines the bureau’s approach to its own workforce, its third-party suppliers and the entities it regulates.
In the updated plan, the CFPB said that it would engage with its regulated entities to support their diversity and inclusion efforts, consistent with the joint standards developed with the other federal regulatory agencies. Specifically, the CFPB said it would confidentially enable voluntary data collection and self-assessment data submissions and share best practices that can be replicated by other entities to enhance their own diversity and inclusion efforts.
