ABA Joins Groups in Support of HUD Nominee

A coalition of 59 housing and finance groups — including ABA — wrote to Senate leadership today urging them to support the nomination of Pam Patenaude as deputy secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Patenaude’s nomination was approved by the Senate Banking Committee in June.

“Ms. Patenaude has shown a dedication to housing through her many years of service,” the groups wrote, citing her previous work at HUD and with the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority. “[Her] leadership will be a great asset to the department, and her knowledge will forward the mission of HUD.”
