More than 100 bankers and state association executives from across the country will participate in the American Bankers Association’s Freshman Fly-In in Washington, D.C., that starts tonight and continues tomorrow. The fly-in is part of an effort to lay the foundation for solid and lasting personal relationships with the seven new senators and 52 new representatives in the 115th Congress — particularly those on the Senate Banking Committee and House Financial Services Committee — and educate them about key banking issues.
Bankers will also have additional opportunities to meet with their members of Congress and educate them about banking issues during the ABA Government Relations Summit, March 20-22 in Washington.
