Ann Barron-DiCamillo, EVP and CISO at U.S. Bank, has been selected as the next chair of the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council, the organization announced. She succeeds Debbie Guild, EVP and head of technology at PNC Financial Services Group, who recently completed a three-year term as chair.
The FSSCC was established in 2002 to work with key government agencies to coordinate critical infrastructure and homeland security activities within the financial services sector. Among its recent projects, the council released six resources earlier this year to help the sector safely deploy artificial intelligence.
In her new role, Barron-DiCamillo will support coordination with U.S. government and international partners on issues affecting the resilience and security of the financial services ecosystem, the FSSCC said in a statement. Before joining U.S. Bank, she held leadership roles at American Express, Citi and various federal government agencies. She also served as chairwoman of the FS-ISAC Global Board of Directors.
The American Bankers Association is a charter member of the FSSCC, and ABA senior staff serve on the FSSCC Management Committee and as co-chairs of the FSSCC Policy Committee.
