The FDIC this week announced the appointment of four new members to its Advisory Committee on Community Banking.
- Shaza Andersen, Trustar Bank, Great Falls, Va.
- Sarah Getzlaff, Security First Bank of North Dakota, New Salem, N.D.
- Gilbert Narvaez Jr., Falcon International Bank, Laredo, Texas
- Mark Pitkin, Sugar River Bank, Newport, N.H.
Established in 2009, the advisory panel provides input to the FDIC on a variety of issues affecting community banks. The committee will meet tomorrow in Washington, D.C.
