Indiana Banker Bob Jones Appointed Chairman of ABA’s ABC Council

July 26, 2018
Reading Time: 1 min read

The American Bankers Association today announced that Indiana banker Robert G. Jones will serve as chairman of its American Bankers Council — the banker-driven peer group for midsize bank chief executives — for the 2018-19 membership year. Jones is currently chairman and CEO of Old National Bancorp in Evansville, Ind., and a member of its board of directors. Prior to joining Old National, Jones served for 25 years at KeyCorp.

“Midsize banks are critical economic drivers, and this council will benefit tremendously from Bob’s leadership in this space,” said ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols. “His depth of knowledge and experience will be a tremendous asset.”
