Reading Time: 1 min read

ABA announced today that it has been certified as a great place to work by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work, which produces the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list and other top employer rankings. In a survey completed by more than 250 ABA employees, 76 percent agreed that the association is a great workplace, with 96 percent saying they take pride in working for the organization.

“Our staff is at the heart of ABA’s mission to provide America’s banks with the tools they need to energize the economy and serve their customers and communities,” said ABA president and CEO Rob Nichols. “ABA employees take pride in their work and value the atmosphere, rewards and challenges associated with being part of our team. This designation will help us retain and attract top talent in the competitive Washington area, which can only further help our members.”

Among other things, employees rated ABA highly for the association’s overall atmosphere (93 percent), communication (89 percent), bosses (87 percent) and the challenging nature of their work (89 percent). Eighty-seven percent of employees agreed that working at ABA offered great rewards. The association continues to introduce policies and programs to help balance the needs of its diverse workforce, such as flexible work arrangements, professional development opportunities and benefits to reduce financial burden on commuters, new parents and those managing student loans.
