ABA Names New Stonier Advisory Board Members

The American Bankers Association has named four new members to the advisory board of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, offered every June in partnership with the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. The new advisory board — all Stonier alums — are:

  • Duncan Campbell, president and CEO of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association
  • Ira Robbins, president and treasurer of Valley National Bank, Wayne, N.J.
  • Patti Steele, president and CEO of First Volunteer Bank, Chattanooga, Tenn.
  • Scott Sonbuchner, examiner of supervision, regulation and credit at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis

The new board members “will pair an intimate knowledge of the program with fresh ideas for contributing to elevate the curriculum,” said ABA Chief Member Engagement Officer Jim Edrington. “Their contributions and insight will be extremely valuable to Stonier’s mission of grooming the industry’s future leaders and preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”
