Video Award Winners Announced

ABA Bank Marketing Video Awards Contest

Monday night at the 2017 ABA Bank Marketing Conference in New Orleans, we were honored to present this year’s winners of the ABA Bank Marketing Video Contest.

This national award—open to U.S. banks of every size—recognizes the ever-increasing power of visual storytelling in the effort to help consumers understand and appreciate America’s banks.

A panel of industry judges scored each entry, based on production value, creativity, and message. The six top-scoring videos for each asset category were then posted on ABA Bank Marketing.com for public voting.

After six months, hundreds of entries, nearly 100,000 viewers, and the careful consideration of 77 judges, the results are in. The envelope please…

Best in Show

This was the single video that received the highest tally across banks of all asset sizes when judges’ scores were combined with public votes.

The winning video is both a send-up on Super Bowl advertising—and a humorous take into how a strong banking relationship allows us to focus on what we do best.
