With high-profile data breaches continuing to make headlines, the American Bankers Association has endorsed the data breach services offered by CyberScout to help banks stay a step ahead of the growing threat. CyberScout’s DataRiskStages offers banks a comprehensive data security program to support banks and bank customers before and after a data breach.
“We’ve heard from banks of all sizes that maintaining customer trust is a top priority,” said ABA SVP Robin Gordon. “Our goal with this endorsement is to provide a thorough evaluation for our members and deliver a solution that complements banks’ existing fraud initiatives by protecting and educating what matters most, their customers.”
DataRiskStages helps banks comply with local and national data breach laws, develop incidence response plans and offer staff awareness tools before a data breach occurs. In a post-breach situation, the system provides an assessment of the breach and recommended remediation. In addition, CyberScout — which offers both service packages and a la carte pricing — can also assist with customer communications and public relations in the event of a breach. Bankers interested in learning more about CyberScout’s DataRiskStages can join an informational webinar on Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. EDT.
