The American Bankers Association has named four bankers as new members of the advisory board of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, offered every June in partnership with the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
The new advisory board members — all Stonier alums — are:
- Christopher Hahne, manager of risk analytics and surveillance at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia
- Christopher Rolle, president of the Orlando, Fla., market at BB&T
- Ashley Springer, managing director for lending strategy at Charles Schwab Bank, San Francisco
- Bill Tierney, SVP and CRE team leader at ConnectOne Bank, Englewood Cliffs, N.J.
Philip Wenger — chairman, president and CEO of Fulton Financial Corporation, Lancaster, Pa. — will be the board’s new chairman. The new board members “bring vast expertise and fresh perspectives to go along with their existing knowledge of our historically successful program,” said ABA EVP Jim Edrington. “Their valuable insights will help us continue Stonier’s tradition of grooming the next generation of industry leaders who are tested and ready to navigate the ever-changing landscape of the financial marketplace.”
