ABA Endorses Stearns Lending’s Fulfillment, Correspondent Services

May 9, 2016
Reading Time: 1 min read

The American Bankers Association — through its Corporation for American Banking subsidiary — announced today that it has endorsed the fulfillment and correspondent lending services offered by Stearns Lending’s financial institutions group. Through the partnership, ABA member banks will have access to a wide range of mortgage products and services to help them stay competitive in their markets. Stearns Lending is the only independent mortgage banking firm endorsed by ABA.

“We’re pleased to work with Stearns Lending to provide our members with a price-advantaged, endorsed solution for mortgage fulfillment and correspondent loan services,” said Bryan Luke, chairman of ABA’s Endorsed Solutions Banker Advisory Council and president and COO of Hawaii National Bank in Honolulu. “The fulfillment option will enable our banks to continue meeting their customer’s mortgage financing needs, instead of exiting the market due to the increased costs and risks associated with many of the new regulations.”
