The House voted 370-48 today to pass legislation to fund the federal government through early December and temporarily extend several programs, including the National Flood Insurance Program. The bill now heads to President Trump’s desk.
Federal funding is currently set to expire on Sept. 30. The continuing resolution would push that deadline back to Dec. 11, after the midterm elections.
The Senate passed the bill in August, just before it left for recess.
