Builder confidence in the market for single-family homes rose three points in March to 51, according to the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index released today. The University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index decreased 7.6% in August compared to the month prior, landing at 51, according to preliminary results for the month.
