Edmonton Bancshares in Edmonton, Kentucky—parent of Edmonton State Bank—has agreed to buy Sumner Bank and Trust in Gallatin, Tennessee. Edmonton said in a statement that it would pay $26.82 a share for the $234 million-asset Sumner. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
