With Hurricane Michael expected to make landfall on the Gulf Coast later this week, the OCC and state regulators in Alabama and Florida have preemptively authorized banks affected by the severe weather to close. The OCC also reiterated guidance intended to help banks facilitate recovery in the wake of natural disasters.
