As part of the short-term deal to fund the government until mid-January, Congress has extended authorization for the National Flood Insurance Program until Jan. 19, 2018. ABA will continue to work with Congress to advance a long-term NFIP reauthorization to be included with an expected omnibus budget bill in January or passed as standalone legislation.
