ABA continues to expand its “America’s Banks” social media and advertising campaign this week with a sponsorship of the Axios PM email newsletter, which has a sophisticated, engaged audience in the Washington, D.C., area and across the country. Each day will spotlight a different way banks are serving the needs of America’s consumers, businesses and farmers, concluding with an ad Friday highlighting results of a recent ABA survey finding that 89 percent of Americans think banks of all sizes are important to the U.S. economy.
The ads are part of a broad, coordinated effort to educate policymakers on the critical role banks play in their communities and the economy. ABA continues to encourage bankers to participate in the campaign by using the hashtag #AmericasBanks in social media posts featuring their banks’ and the industry’s community engagement.
