The OCC today announced that Grace Dailey has been named senior deputy comptroller for bank supervision and policy and chief national bank examiner. Dailey has served at the OCC for more than 30 years in a number of different roles, including deputy comptroller for large bank supervision. She replaces Jennifer Kelly, who retires from the OCC at the end of April after 37 years of service.
The agency also announced that Grovetta Gardineer will fill the newly created position of senior deputy comptroller for compliance and community affairs. She will be responsible for overseeing compliance exams of national banks and thrifts and managing the agency’s CRA programs. Gardineer has more than 28 years of experience in bank supervision serving the OCC, the Office of Thrift Supervision and the FDIC.
