Incoming ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols was yesterday named to a list of top association lobbyists by The Hill newspaper, a widely read publication among policymakers on Capitol Hill.
“Nichols, a former Treasury Department official, is putting his experience as the leader of the Financial Services Forum to work as the new head of the banking heavyweight,” the newspaper noted.
ABA executives have made the list of those The Hill describes as leaders “demonstrating an ability to influence Washington’s power brokers on behalf of the interest groups, corporations and industries they represent” for several years in a row.
