Jeremiah Norton Resigns as FDIC Director

Jeremiah Norton, who has served as a director on the FDIC board since 2012, on Friday announced his resignation from the agency. His last day will be June 5.

“Jeremiah has been an extraordinarily effective and influential member of the FDIC Board,” said FDIC Chairman Martin Gruenberg. “He has made major contributions to important actions by the FDIC in the wake of the financial crisis.”
