By Bankers, for Bankers

By Frank Keating

Welcome to the new ABA Banking Journal.

After a six-month hiatus, during which we reimagined and redesigned our flagship publication, the ABA Banking Journal is back with content that we hope you find relevant, sophisticated and engaging.

This issue and those that follow will touch on all the major topics that are shaping banking today—from the economy, financial policy, compliance and cybersecurity to mortgages, payments and operations. Not coincidentally, these are also areas where ABA and our endorsed solutions providers and service members have expertise. We will be sharing that expertise with you through the stories and columns in these pages and online, at aba.com/BankingJournal. There you will find additional features, as well as stories from ABA’s popular email bulletins, including ABA Daily Newsbytes.

With guidance from the ABA Communications Council—a group of bank CEOs who are serving as the magazine’s editorial board—this magazine aims to be a valued resource, developed by bankers, for bankers. Please let us know if we are hitting the mark. Share your feedback—and your suggestions for stories you would like to see covered or stories you may have—by emailing [email protected].

ABA has a history of providing solutions and resources that help banks succeed. We are pleased to continue that tradition with the new ABA Banking Journal.
