The National Institute of Standards and Technology will next week host a public meeting to gather input on the regulators’ Cybersecurity Assessment Tool. The session, to be held April 7, is part of a broader meeting to revisit NIST’s cybersecurity framework first released in 2014. Those interested may attend the meeting in-person in Gaithersburg, Md.; registration closes tomorrow. The meeting will also be webcast.
ABA, associations: Stablecoin review committee must establish formal procedures
A new committee to review state-level regulatory frameworks for stablecoins must adopt strong, transparent rules before it starts making decisions “that will shape the payment stablecoin market for years to come,” the ABA and three bankers associations said.
