Bob Jones, president and CEO of United Bank in Atmore, Ala., has been appointed by President Trump to serve a four-year term as a member of the Treasury Department’s Community Development Advisory Board as the representative of insured depository institutions. The board advises the director of the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund on policies regarding the activities of the fund.
In addition to his role as president and CEO of United Bank, a CDFI, Jones also serves on the industrial development board for the city of Atmore and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council. He is actively involved with the American Bankers Association as a former association board member, and currently serves as chairman of the Fund for Economic Growth and a board member of the ABA Foundation.
